Masuk 2009 ni....
Update Parlimail...
Ada beberapa penambahan ahli dan beberapa migrasi ahli.
Baim telah memperkenalkan Aini manakala Rash telah memperkenalkan Miem.
Mas berpindah ke Melaka.... dapat kerja di sana
Ruby dapat posting di Sarawak sebagai cikgu
dan Bulat akan berpindah bekerja di KL.
Farewell Mas dibuat semasa majlis buka puasa di rumah Baim dan Aini.
Farewell Ruby... tak sempat di buat... tetapi sempat la menumpang berjumpa di kenduri Aimy dan Akhmal.. dan sempatlah aku mengejar dia ke KLIA  sebelum keberangkatan...
Farewell Bulat... dan melihat gmbr ini... hmmm... sungguh la terasa ahli Parlimail semakin berkurangan... kan kan...

Shuh Jiuan's Wedding

Shuh Jiuan's wedding. She's married to James Yii, who she knew from UTM. I went to the pre-wedding rituals as well... midnight before the wedding day. It was a new experience for me, and I kinda enjoyed it, especially shooting it with my Nikon beby.
The next morning, the wedding day.
Ele, Merri, Seeta, Pei Lynn and I were the chi muis. Ai Nam and Wi Lyn were the bridesmaids.
Okie.. some chimui pixxies here...
In the evening, the hi-tea reception in E&O Hotel. We helped around for the registration and door gifts. And not forgetting.... Flower Toss... oppps... ignore the drama

Bachelorattes nite out

One week before Jiuan's wedding...
so this was the bachelorattes nite out.. no party2.. jus makan2.. haha..
we had dinner at winter warmers...
(i idle for about an hour, as I hit the gym... ) then back...
We managed to catch up and gelak2 for no reasons.. and I tortured them with my clicks n snaps... i think they finally warmed up to it and not feeling intimidated with the extremely bright flash... huhuhu...
Ele had to leave early...
oh yaa... ignore thiss.... pity bond had to layan us with the crazy shots.. i won't post all here.. hahaha.. tak larat nak tgk sendiri... hohohoh...
4 of us... continued sembang2... and had a midnite movie - Twilight.
I didnt know it was a hit... just went in without much expectations.. n it was good.
I went back... HAPPY.... thanks peeps... u girls rock.. n love u peeps lots...

Alumni CBM and Penang Line Dance
|
|
CBM alumni co-organised the Penang International Line Dance held in Pisa yesterday. We were in charge of the food distribution. Since i’ve been busy lately, I didnt manage to text my friends to join-in as I myself joined in at the last minute, to help around. Sorry ya… will try to be more effective next time around
Just received a text from dr.ooi saying that we had positive feedback.. so kuddos… the thing that excite me the most is, the t-shirts has our school logo on them… n it looks so… well.. for me, nostalgic. but, i didnt buy the tshirt… I forgot totally.
As can be seen in this pic - the tshirt in pink (for participants). There’s also ocean-blue version of this tshirt, and most of the men opted for this one.
in conclusion.. we had a hectic morning... and made some money for charity. the alumni decided to donate to st.nicholas home for the visually-impaired.

Small get together
|
|
Jane called for a small meet up. We were given the invitations cards and some briefing. I can’t wait for the ceremony… It will be a big reunion for our batch. We have not had one since 2002 and with slightly less people last year at the alumni dinner. I was briefed on the task description and what-to-wear lists… Uwaaa… I don’t have the appropriate attire yet.
we talked about the “next phase” in life. Getting married?? Hehehe.. I can’t stop laughing, thinking of how far we have come from the innocent (and naughty) years in cbm. The topics of our conversation are definitely different. Last time we would be saying “Euwww, why are we discussing this” if we were to talk about marriage. Look at us NOW…
Will it be as challenging as told by some? Will we be able to cope with the journey? After the interesting exchange of thougths, we concluded, it takes Will-Power, Understanding and of course L.O.V.E heheheh *deep
Tips from one of my lecturers, successful and a super-woman:
“Be smart and know how to manage your responsibilities, and most importantly set your priorities. At times, you have to be Strong in defending your priorities”

3 day conference on high capacity optical networks and enabling technologies. Although it is not my specialization area... attended it and helped with the organizing. It's a great experience to meet people who are established in this area and listening to some of their interesting presentations.
