Hohoho deepavali… rasanya slalu jupe logis time deepavali… last year went with Farrah, since she was not around tis time, she couldn’t make it. I happened to contact joyce, and invited her along, ye la open house kan…
so kitorg buka posa at logis’s place… and had a good time catching up…. n why must they ask me the frequently asked question every time I meet my frens… “dah ader pakwe ke?” miahahaha.. and they keep getting the same answer every year…
sorry guys, no new stories a.k.a gossipzz la… but usually I’ll be like their network antenna, updating about most of other friends, who’s doing what, and stuff… no wonder I end up taking computer science, I remembered being called the astro when it was first introduced… and now… I’m what? The IPv6 dual-stack service provider? Hiehiehie…(uh-oh, i start to sound like a obsessed student).. better stop before I go on with my craps…

we have dr.mandava's class at 8.30am, but my housemates n i slept after sahur (after staying up the whole night), and so we missed the class.. not like it happens all the time though.... but i was supposed to have a group discussion after the class... so had to get up from bed whether i like it or not...
this is my first time carrying my camera without its case. stuff it into my bag... made sure no scratches would possibly be made on it sleek surface..

Fardous was rather excited, and had no problem striking a pose... she asked me to bring my camera on her Raya open house... sure thing... i'll bring my camera and snap pictures of the foods (Libyan delicacies) haha!
then...after that... prepare for ipv6 assgnment presentation. Mastura joined later. (nampak tak lam gambo... muka mas tgh fokus siapkan slide... seriusss beb!)
We edited the slides and off we went to the class... Yogita was already presenting... our so -called 'rival' group laa... surprisingly, they use the same slide design... hauhau.. when it was our turn, yogita was just as surprised as i was...
k.. so a few grup presented... didnt really paid any attention... so sleepy but cannot sleep...

We stopped at CS carpark area, where a grup of students hovering over Iman's 4 years old daughter... Iman is one of our classmates from Jordan. Holding the camera, we went to her... and snapped few pictures... having her being sooo cute n fotogenic... was just lovely.

Today is Kak Sarah's besday.....
smalam, abang Sumi called from Austria... minta BiG-TiMe punya favor...... ingatkan aper laa... pastu dpt tau yang the next day, birthday Kak Sarah. Since he's not in-town, he won't be able to meet, see nor spend time wit kakSarah.. apatah lagi kasik hadiah....
AbngSumi asked my favor belikan a bouquet of flower and bagi Kak Sarah on his behalf....
the thing is, where am i supposed to get a fresh bouquet from eh? n... how am i suppose to go to GH (Penang General Hospital) from my place?? how eh??
Mas offered to accompany me... naik bas ke teksi ke moto ke... dia ckp dia ikut. Dia cadangkan pinjam moto sesapa.....
pasal bunga lak... i have no idea at all... mana pernah bagi org bunga (kecuali konvo), dan tak pernah dapat bunga (kecuali konvo gak).... so tatau mana nak dapat? lalu contact buk, ex-florist ..hehe... he recommended one place, so pasal nak cari bunga setttle laa..... minta pinjam moto dia... dan dia cakap orait... so transport pun settle laa...
tis morning... hujan pun turun laa.... alamak! camne nak gi ngan moto? takpe, tgk keadaan lue.... gi kelas Dr.Mandava. Shimah takgi kelas, study distributed - test petang nie.... (dia tgh test aar skang nie) .... buk tak dtg kelas... Lepas kelas, tanya bulat pasal moto, sbb buk tak dtg.... but muktar ckp, nanti diorg dtg anta moto... buk takmai sebab demam. haa... demam ke? alamak, sian lak nak minta datang anto moto, tapi muktar kata takper, diorg anto.....
muncul azah ketika itu.... offer kitorg nak anto ngan keta.... pikir2 sian lak nak minta buk antar moto dgn demam2 nyer... call muktar ngan buk, nak bgtau takyah anta... tapi takdpt get thru... kat kafe lak... azrin dan azah men-psiko kitorg pasal nak naik moto sampai GH... jauh...bahaya..nak hujan... dll... akupun dari confiden dah jadik tak confiden.... sebab nak bonceng orang kan....keselmatan penunggang harus di-titik beratkan..... Buk dah bawa moto dia... tgk dia sian sgt... demam.. huhuhu... pastu try moto dia... moto dia, klac dia masuk mcm lain... mmg aku tak biasa bawak klac mcm tu... bolehke aku bawak sampai GH eh.... dekat2 berani gak... kesimpulannya, at last....kitorg gi ngan Azah.... naik kete...
bunga.. beli kat Makro.... bunga kaler pink.... Azah jadi asyik tgk florist tu wrap bunga... dia dah bajet2 nak wrap sendiri bunga suatu hari nanti....99 kuntum uu.... untuk siapa yer??? hehehehe..... Mas lak borong beli abes kad kecik bentuk bear kat situ....
the real destinantion - Penang GH. Kak Sarah, doktor kat situ... wpun birthday dia, dia ada on-call 24-hours the whole day.... she didnt even have her lunch... not only today, but most of the other days pun cam tue... sian lak tgk dia... memang keje byk.
Sampai GH, bawa bunga tu... mesti org ingat kitorg bawak bunga besau besau tu nak bagi patient.... perghh... padahal ... nak kasik doktornyaa... Called her, dan dia tgh dalam Ward tgh attent patient...
the nite before... sms dia bgtau, kononnya, nak gi GH sebab nak wat literature survey la konon.. hehe tipu jer.... so gi la jumpa dia... mula2 dia terkejut sebab aku tau birthday dia... aku minta dia kuar jap, since masa tu dia dah abes treat patient. mula-mula bagi hadiah yang aku kasi... she was so excited.... ehehhe...
then came the big-surprise. Bunga dari Sumi-San..... 
Memang Kak Sarah terkezuut giler.... the first thing she said "He is soo sweet" ... ehehheeh... i guess that goes to you, abang Sumi Kak Sarah mmg terharu dapat bunga tu.... nampak mcm dah nak kuar tears in her eyes... heppinyer tgk dier cam tuee.... Azah dan Mas pun heppi... Kak Sarah tanya, diorg ke my frens yang nak wat research ngan i ?? huh wat research?? oo... the so-called 'literature survey' i guess... hiehiehiehie.....
kak sarah ckp at first dia mcm dah "this is gonna be my worst birthday... 24hours on-call" ... but she said we made her day..... Sumi-san made her day... meaningful as it supposed to be... ehehhehee.... wpun dapat borak n jumpak kejap jer... Kak Sarah mmg berbesau hati dan heppi.....
Kitorg balik dengan tersenyum puas.... ntah... seronok la tgk expression Kak Sarah masa dapat bunga tue.... hmm.... wpun mula2 kopius2... akhirnya misi terlaksana dgn berjaya.... afterall it's a "Mission PossibLe" maa... aku dan Mas tak habis2 berangan.. "Bila aaa leh dapat bunga cam nie ek... " hehehe..
I must thank all my team @ batallion... for helping me out... making an effort to make someone's day beautiful...

bukan program rasmi bawah AYTR.... tapi saje buat program susulan dari PDDS aritue....
AbgSumi dah nak bertolak jer Jerman tis week, so dia ajak gi lawat adik2 kitorg kat umah bakti reramai. Daripada program aritu..... yang pegi, abgsumi, Kak Sarah, aku, LeeVee, Luqman, Shahrul, dan Mus... selain tue, ada juniors pktr2004 join skali, dan jugak beberapa member kpd bebudak nie...
hehehe... tgk diorg nie, bes jer... teringat zaman aku muda-muda dulu... takde la aku dah tua sangat... tapi nampak diorg cam lebey fresh... baru menjejak masuk ipta... semangat wajah i tell u...
Kak Sarah a.k.a Dr.Sarah lak nampak loose weight sikit... maklumla keje kuat... hmm.. bukan senang nak jadik doktor kan... tapi mmg respek kak sarah ... still can allocate time 4 the kids...
Abgsumi laks nak gi jermeng 6 bulan kot, pehtu base kat kulim....
aku lak.... baru sbulan start masters... pening kapala dah... penat aar....

Asalnya nakgi beli barang sikit kat pacific megamall... ajak shafarrah, sebab dia balik cuti 2 minggu. Then dekat nak maghrib, Alisa ajak gi jenjalan, dgn Rinaz sebab Rinaz dah nak balik um nanti. Hmm.. yelah, kalau tak, mmg tak sempat nye laa....
Mmg adhoc, so mmg tak plan apa2.... dan sekalikan je la kedua-dua plan nie.. aku pun kuar dr umah lepas mandi dan sembahyang, lupa lak nak makan sebab taknak lambat sgt. Amik alisa dan rinaz... pehtu pi amik makcik lagi sorg kat desa damai lak. Gi pacific, turn out bukan aku sorg je la yang shopping, kesempatan itu digunakan mereka yang lain utk shop shop gak....
memang perut aku dah bergendang, so gi isi tangki kat Pelita Nasi Kandaq.... kat autocity...
sesambil la melepak dan bersembang bagai nak rak.... tak hingat..... sampai mak aku call, baru tringat nak balik... so, kami pun berangkat laa balik... dan aku berjaya buat rinaz terguling guling kat belakang sebab aku bawak kete cam org giler... keskeskesk.....
dah jom balek...

Personal Sight
Come to think of it, I don’t know why exactly in the first place I was so keen to join this program. Maybe I was considering the fact that I’ve ‘extinct’ myself from this group for quite some time that I sensed an immediate urge to join… or was it because I thought I needed to do something before I start my masters… or was it because I was out to find some motivation… Whatever it was, I’m glad I did join…
Being held in the northern part of the country, I didn’t see the reason why I couldn’t make it, so it was a YES from the very beginning (since I first heard of it in the AGM)
I seldom fall sick … but miserably did, a day before going to Sungai Petani… from a slight sore throat to a fever… to an intense headache… but I was determined, that I’d recover in just one night and would make it to the program. The fever surrendered… but my sore throat didn’t seem to cede.
Saturday 28th
As the moment we were waiting for approached, each and every one of us was very anxious and excited at the same time. The kids arrived, lined up in front of the lobby, and made their way to their respective, allotted facilitators. I can still remember the looks of the two siblings who seemed quite intimidated by the environment. Trying to seek for assurance, their voices sounded timid at first. We brought and showed them to their particular rooms and then to the seminar room (that was used throughout the program).
We reminded ourselves that we should be sensitive to issues regarding their profile but at the same time to be able to reach to them. I must Not say it was a challenge… as it was more of an enthusiasm we had.
Personally, this program was the first one I followed under aytr… in a way; I’m still an apprentice, a starter, a beginner… I didn’t know what to expect at the beginning. I was stiff at times, still adjusting once a while, but… most of the time, I just feel soooo welcomed and like-so-in-the family lor… It’s not only the program, but the AYTR team itself… welcoming, tolerant, yet “happening”.
Regardless of being labeled as the “kakak suara rock” for losing my voice, I couldn’t keep my mouth locked up. Bla bla bla here, bla bla bla there… with co-facilitators, and the kids… though at times, my throat did sting intolerably, I just ignored it. I would have lost so much if I were to pamper myself and just stopped talking. One thing the kids obviously wanted was conversation and interaction with you, and they are really good at that.
The kids… they were just wonderful. Once a while, giving us hard-time when situation seemed to be more or less chaotic, but most of the time, they took instructions from us very well.
Facilitating them was both enlightening and pleasurable. I thought I was there to motivate them… but not only did I accomplish that (we believe we did, in some ways)... I, myself was actually motivated by this whole program.
Looking into their eyes, we can see that, hopes and faith are still there, but some, seemed to loose their lights. Some had hopes but lost their determination… Some still trying to figure out why or reasons to some things that had happened to them. Some just keep moving on without knowing what to expect in years to come…. Some have no idea of what are instilled for them.
We discovered some bright ones, and discovered talents in them. They are after all, like any one of us, have their own share in this world… need love and attention, care and affection. Society would most likely to see them as the abandoned ones, but we believe they are special… well, to us and to those taking care of their charity.
All together, the program seemed to be a successful one. There is always room for improvements… This was the first time atyr handled program for this particular targeted group. There were some flaws here and there, which were tactfully tackled by the team. The age range (kids from 9 years to 17 years old teens) was another issue we had, but we tried our very best to deal with that as well. But, the most important thing was being able to touch and reach to them, being able to open up their heart to us, being able to make them believe in us throughout the program, and their willingness to give us chance to be with them.
It wouldn’t be fair to them if we were to move on with our own lives after reaching up to them to the extent that we did, without looking back. We loaded them with a lot of “unwritten-wills”, guidance and advices… encouragements and inspirations were shared…
Kak Sarah... u did a wonderful job... Thank you 4 ur guidance and also not forgetting..
