Happy Deepavali to all Hindhu devotees especially my friends 
This year went to 5 houses... friends n femili friends
Nurul and I went to Logis' house for tea. This is first time Nurul and Logis meet after SPM, walauweh, so long. Same when Nurul met YingSan when we meet up before Raya.
Kolam in Logis' house.
Kolam (Tamil: கோலம் kõlaṁ) is a form of sandpainting that is drawn using rice powder by female members of the family in front of their home. It is widely practised by Hindus in South India. A Kolam is a sort of painted prayer — a line drawing composed of curved loops, drawn around a grid pattern of dots.
(in some places its called Rangoli, Wikipedia says rangoli and kolam is different... but most of the time, rangoli is also called Kolam in tamil).
Rangoli is one of the most popular art forms in India. It is a form of sandpainting decoration that uses finely ground white powder and colours, and is used commonly outside homes in India.
Rangoli can be wall art as well as floor art. The term rangoli is derived from words rang (colour) and aavalli ('coloured creepers' or 'row of colours').

Anusha Achuthan: actually kolam means the drawing with the rice flour on the flour

Open House Emme

Happy Birthday Atta....
It's Atta's besday and the following day (on 19th), we had a kenduri at home, therefore I was not able to attend Emme's open house....
But I have the photos... HOWW???
yeahh... we actually have a NEW PHOTOGRAPHER in the group now....
It's Aini @ Baim's wife. Yeahaaa... now officially, we have 3 main photographer for the group, Me, Aini and Irfan and backup photographer, Joni.
Not forgetting the best and most consistent journalism photographer, Akak Seksi = Kak Ilah, with her "D70" @ Sony Ericcson W960i 
journalism because it covers all events regardless small or big events... ehehhe...

Kawan - kawan nak pergi rombongan beraya di rumah kawan - kawan di Seberang Penang ni.
First, diorang datang ke umah aku, dijamu dengan biskut raya dan pasembor (import)

Second, to Alisa's house. Aku ikut diorang, ini first time kuar beraya rumah kawan for raya kali ini.

Then, ke Kulim pula, serbu umah Nando. Ini adhoc, tapi mak Nando sempat masak lauk-pauk yg best dalam masa yg singkat.

Selepas ituw, rombongan bpecah, diorang balik usm, tatkala aku gi amik Rinaz dan ke umah Natte.
Masa drop Rinaz balik, singgah umah dia pula.

Masa balik umah, already nite...sampai2 lorong umah... takda lampu sederet tu. Black out. Family otw balik from somewhere.
Aku sungguh takut... tiba2 rasa mcm sunyi... felt like citer "I am Legend" lak... bertemankan lampu kereta aja.
Tatkala dalam kegelapan, terbayang wajah azah.
Lps inform femili... dan call azah yg sudi menerima kunjungan ku.. aku pun singgah ke rumahnya ahaksss

Buka Puasa & besday surpriz with ChiMuis

Hehehe.. yesterday we had a mini reunion... very mini as there were only 3 of us
We buka puasa at the Kapitan (1++ hour after real waktu berbuka). Of course I had something light to eat first la kan for berbuka.
Shuh Jiuan reallly njoyed the food there... I won't mention her menu berbuka here... hahaha.. mengalahkan i yang berpuasa but both of them really njoyed the food (the ayam so tender n juicy)...
sakan nyerr kita makan.... (Ying San learned to love this word "sakan" so much). I have introduced 2 istilah this time... Sakan and bergedik-gediks... 
our makan semestinya version yg dragged coz we makan dengan berlauk gosip dan updates... Later... we went for coffee at starbucks at new world park.
Ok.. Ying San has this hot sexy GPS gadget thingy that helped her to find the places. this gadget talks, sings, has peculiar sound effects and can even bergedix.
this gadget is called ME... kuikuikui..
Sabar yer... see.. dgn berkat kesabaran and my secret formula.. we always sampai the place dengan selamatnyaa.... (*seeking credits ).
Ying San gave us cute sorvenirs from italia...
followed by our suprise besday wish... a very cute cake comes with it... Then, another surprise - something I prepared just a few hours before - masih segar dari ladang...
Ying San got a special version, with photo frame... and I've printed one each for both ShuhJiuan and I. Shuh Jiuan was also surprised...
biasala.. i kan suka ber-drama2 then we signed the pixxies... ala-ala zaman autograph sekolah dulu... ahaks...

I really enjoyed the nite with u gurlsss....
Ying San will fly back to Itally next week... one day before Raya. On raya, she'll be on transit  sian oni  Dun worry yer... i'll make Shuh Jiuan and JanLyn eat ur portion eh... Take care yaa makcik!!!!

Kubang Semang Old Folks Home

Alhamdulillah, we have successfully implemented our charity drive (20th Sept 08 -Saturday) in Kubang Semang Old Folks Home.
Gelagat Cucu-cucu dan Atuk-atuk
My day began early as my sis,Mely and I started helping Amma from early morning to cook. Menu prepared by us were Ayam Masak Merah, Sayur Kacang Panjang, and Nasi spesel (bkn nasi minyak tp mau mcm nasik minyak) Of course we had to rely on our mom fully in order for the lauk to turn out seddappp.... nyam nyam :*
Around 4pm... all packed, Mely and I joined the rest at the Masjid Kubang Semang. I'm recycling my post from the blog:
5.00pm - We reached Masjid Kubang Semang, and after prayers and getting some stuff from Param nearby, we made our way to the Home
5.40pm - We were welcomed by the Penyelia and old folks. We made ourselves at home, some prepared the food, and some started to warmed up with the Atuk-atuk.
6.15pm - Food were all set on the table and we continued talking to them. Later, we started a new task - hanging the curtains.
7.19pm - Buka Puasa and Maghrib Prayers
8.20pm - Akhmal's cousin , Ustaz Imran delivered a tazkirah on "Al-Quran dan Bulan Ramadhan"
8.30pm - Isya prayers+ Terawih, and cleaning up dishes.
9.45pm - Moreh. By now, they seemed to feel more comfortable with us around. We continued the curtain hanging task in between moreh and conversations.
10.30pm - We took group photos and sesi bersalam - salaman. Nando and Zue handed the Duit Raya and contributions.
We would love to extend our appreciation and biggest / warmest thanks to all the wellwishers, family and friends who have supported our first charity drive. The total amount of contributions summed up to RM 1891.
We handed a total of RM120 as Duit Raya for each old folks
RM120 x 12 = RM1440
The balance of RM 451 was given to the Penyelia for administration purpose.
11.00pm - We left the Home with a warm farewell from the Penyelia and atuk-atuk.
We had a wonderful time at the Old Folks Home. When we first arrived, they greeted us with smiles but most of them were a little shy. Later after spending some time chatting and eating, they have warmed up to us and we feel contented to chat with them. In this short time spent, we learned about their personalities and I bet they learned about ours too. They are very friendly and warm  InsyaAllah, we plan to drop by and visit them on off-record visits.
Congratulations Akhmal @Nando and Zuraini! Both of them did a great job handling this project, very organised yet kept simple Kuddos guys. And also to all other Parlimail members who have been supportive and cooperative all the way. InsyaAllah, with this unique bond that we have, we will able to make organise more hope-and-love-spreading activities

I would like to thank my parents for being supportive n helping us out... They never hesitated to help/teman me on social activities like this. aLways encouring us. and I always looveee amma's cookinggg... nyam nyam nyam... (*kena blajar hehehe)

Buka Puasa at Eis'

Eis @ Isnawati is Johnny's officemate, who joined us in projek Gua Tempurung, and to one of the movies... a nice girl... and sooo nice of her, and her family to invite us to their homey for buka puasa..

Buka Puasa, Welcoming Party & Farewell Gathering

It was the 14th day of Ramadhan. Time certainly flies rite.
After nearly half a month, we managed to gather and have a buka-puasa bash. The stimulus:
>We have planned ahead to have buka-puasa together.
>We wanted to welcome Aini, Baim’s wife into the clan.
>Mastura will be leaving Penang next month, as she has accepted a job offer as a lecturer in Melaka. Thus, it was also a farewell gathering for Mas.
Kinda like 3 in one laa kan…
Baim and Aini played the hostess, welcoming us to their new homey which was occupied just 2 weeks ago.
Mas insisted on providing the main meal, as she has planned to treat us makan before she leaves. Tq, Mass
Whereas the others, we organized a potluck through parlimail, to avoid lauk-redundancy
The ambush started from 6.20 pm – 6.50pm… working together, setting the variety of food for buka puasa.
Nikon moments ya kawan-kawan.
Buka puasa with light food, and continued with the main course after maghrib prayers. Though food came in a great mass, Alhamdulillah…they were not wasted. (ada byk recycle bin)
We prayed terawih together, and after that, moreh session where we had ice cream n cake… and sesi ucapan from Mas and the newly wed couple. (dipengerusikan Aca... hohoho ganassss)

Pixxies moment… then cleaning up… and finally we vacated their homey, leaving it back in peace. Ehehhe…

Perkahwinan Baim dan Aini

Penyerahan Hadiah kepada KakBaim:
Minggu ini Baim telah pulang ke Malaysia.... dengan isteri beliau, Aini.
Ahlli- ahli parlimail tak sabar2 nak berjumpa dengan isteri Baim, yang jugak berkemungkinan akan dijadikan ahli parlimail tak lama lagi.
Ini upacara penyampaian hadiah perkahwinan daripada ahli2 parlimail kepada kakBaim,
bertempat di makmal HIRG dan hanya dihadiri oleh MT sahaja.
Maaflah dengan aksi2 saya itu.. nampaknya, terlalu excited gituw
Dan saya telah diberi kebenaran untuk publish gambar-gambar perkahwinan Baim dan Aini di sini.

it's 26th... i am in BM (bt mertajam)...somewhere further... in permatang pauh... things are not as peaceful as it is in my area...
somehow.. i am not really following any updates from this elections...
i kinda grew tired of trying to think and analyse about political issues nowadays...
okie... but then... i am rather zealous when it comes to this:
our own version of parliament...
Our group started this "Parlimail" somewhere during the 2008 GE.
We were and are always actively communicating thru emails... so at that time we declared the penubuhan Parlimail.
We konon2 ada parti kerajaan (those keje kt penang island) and parti pembangkang @LOCK (based in Kulim)
Unlike the real situations out there... if we have any disagreements.. we would easily settle it over a sponsored meal or a movie treat...
okie.. activity last weekend adalah Paint Ball...

I didn't make it to USM.. but Kak Ilah, Joni and Rash came down to BM for lunch.

Hmmm.. i was not very fit.. sneezing all day long.. but I was hungry... mom didnt cook coz mlm br balik from KL. they arrived at 5am and picked them up kt town..
so i went to jusco with ainaa, my dad was there too but went for window shopping.. while we join em for makan kat Big Apple
 
After makan.. short tour.. but i cannot tahan oredi.. keep sneezing n pening2.. kak ilah said i look like ibu tunggal yang kesedihan...
coz tears keep coming out n i looked sick maa...
jadi bagi mengelakkan sbrg spekulasi... i cepat2 balik... n ressstttt whole day at home.. adehhhh
