This weekend I was on wheels most of the time moving from usm to home, bm to penang...
so the cars served as my homey...
all my family members were in KL/Kajang/PJ beberapa hari sampai weekend..
so aku pun berulang alik jaga rumah and also jalan-jalan cari makan

Then terus shoot balik BM... pick up Ying San first and rush ke umah.. bagi ikan makan
hehehe.. sbb since khamis tak makan apa2 ikan2 ni.. dah ler ni species kategori adik bradik piranha..
Then we went to ol-town, juru untuk Sembang Warung Kopi...
catching up and testing lense so we had some shots lor , hohohoho...
okie.. our makcik YingSan just came back from Milan. After setahun kt sana... she came back
with very.. i mean verrry verry broken bahasa melayu....
cracked me up la u....i shall insist cakap bahasa melayu sepenuhnya next time we meet for buka puasa.
Too bad she'll be back to milan just one day before raya.. so cannot taste my rendang kambing lerr...

YTR/USM - conference on sustainable development

Walaupun bidang pengajian saya tidak berkait rapat dengan isu sustainable development, I have made the effort to attend this conference because of my affiliations to both aYTR and USM 
oh yaa.. USM has been named as the APEX University.
*Sebanyak sembilan universiti seluruh negara telah menghantar permohonan dan hanya empat universiti iaitu USM, UM, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) dan Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) disenarai pendek. Kertas cadangan USM bertemakan “Transforming Higher Education for a Sustainable Tomorrow”.
Universiti Apex ialah pengiktirafan yang diberikan kepada IPT tempatan yang menjadi penanda aras di peringkat dunia dalam bidang pengajian tinggi dan dijanjikan autonomi daripada segi kewangan, skim perkhidmatan, pengurusan, pengambilan pelajar, kepemimpinan tertinggi dan penetapan yuran pengajian *

This is the alumni's second reunion gathering. Unlike last year (dinner), we had lunch gathering this year.
Those who came range from these batch: 1962, 1965,1969, 1971, 1973, 1974, 1975, 1976, 1978, 1981, 1982, 1983, 1996, 1999, 2001 and 2002.
(year they graduate from secondary school)
I became the emcee again, this time with Ai Lyn as my partner. We had 3 games altogether
these were 2 interesting games...
Who am I - sesuai la for ice-breaking
Sarong - to test ur sarong-wearing skills maaa
threading was quite hillarious....
the moral of this game, as proclaimed by the winning team is "THe OldiEs has betteR experieNce"
or maybe we can conclude that.. for this game tight jeans are so No-No 
Okies....

the committee did a postmortem session rite after the event. Some plans had been outlined for future projects. We will announce to the alumni members as well as interested ex-CBMers in near future...

salam ahli parlimail sekalian
disini sy akan melaporkan sesi meraikan kejayaan YB IRFAN berkonvokesyen USM kali ke -38. Seramai 3 org ahli parlimail telah menyertai keraian ini iaitu YAB Rash, YAB Azleena dan En.Azrul
sesi bermula dengan 3 ahli parlimail yg meraikan bergerak ke tapak konvo dan membeli En.Patrick sebagai simbolik kejayaan YB Irfan. Untuk makluman En.Patrick merupakan wish congrates daripada:

Kemudian kami bertiga bergerak ke dataran merah untuk membuat suprise kepada YB Irfan dan memberikan hadiah2 iringan. Seterusnya sesi bergambar bermula dari pejabat pos, dataran merah, tanah lapang depan parking lot CS, signboard CS malah ke bilik Dr Putra.
Setelah selesai sesi bergambar, misi seterunya adalah makan tengahhari yg telah dibelanja oleh seseorang (nama dirahsiakan atas sebab keselamatan...ini disebabkan beliau bekerja dibawah tanah jajahan yg agak panas...uhuhuhuh)...selesai sudah sesi makan, maka tamatlah sesi keraian di atas kejayaan YB Irfan berkonvokesyen
dilampirkan bersama gambar2 sesi keraian bermula dari sesi di dataran, tanah lapang dan makan2

Ini aktiviti bulan lepas yang baru saya sempat upload...
Aktiviti kali ini melibatkan banyak air (masuk gua mmg redah air), oleh yang demikian... saya tidak membawa kamera saya...
Namun, berbanyak terima kasih kami ucapkan kepada Joni dan Irfan kerana menjadi kameraman yang berjaya kali ini.
Kamera joni (kamera dipinjam dari kawan) adalah kalis air (Olympus)... oleh itu.. kami dapat amek gambo dlam gua.
Kamera Irfan banyak cover liputan selepas Gua.. iaitu di camp site....
Selain itu... Kak Ilah dan Zuraini juga men-klik2 menggunakan kamera fon mereka... ehehhee...
TETAPI....
aku tetap nak edit dan compile kat sini...

Part #1
its 8.03am Monday morning. the memories is still fresh in my mind. i am missing the moments so much. here's the story.
my Saturday starts as early as 5am. as AjK memasak, i need to prepare sandwich and cekodok. Mak helped me out. i love MAK!!
at 7.30am, everyone has gathered and off we go. We made a stop at Juru to pick up Nando and Ruby. then around 8am, off we go!
Based on my F1 driving skill (ecewah), we reached Gua Tempurung around 10am. The first impression is some sort similar of Bukit Larut.
Without hesitation, led by BB fazz, we found our tour guide and headed in.
Our guide is a bit strange, sometimes he talk to himself (mumble about something) and also moves like lipas kudung (very impressive).
Once we entered, the first thing, we need to do is wade thru water. We all loved it! The water is very cool and clear as well.
Along the way, bb emme and my shoe's tapak started to peel off. haha.
(we bought the same shoe just a few days before, its cheap(Rm25) and made of rubber).
Luckily, we have bb zleenz who brought rubber band (along with benang, jarum etc-what a preparation).
Once fixed, the shoe is as good as new. =P

hehehe... be prepared for rainy days... i knew my "first-aid-kit" would do some good...
and i think it did as througout this trip... i supplied nail-clipper, panadol, minyak angin and even the benang to those who needed em
Before we went, i've heard fiza's stories on the sliding and lubang jamban thing. the sliding sounds horrorful.
We waited a few metres a way when another group was doing it. We could hear screams, claps and laughter.
When it was our turn, it didn't look scary. People kept telling me its 90degrees turn. But NO it is not.
Its a bit slanting. our group was grouped with a primary school scouts group and we let them go first.
So, by helping the kids, i guess my terror disappeared little by little. =) and my slide went well. yeay!
Next was lubang jamban. being tall, its actually quite easy for me. YAB rash stayed to ensure our safety. BRAVO YAB rash!
The most impressive and best momemts was climbing the stairs up to the peak. I thank my gym days as i managed to pull myself thru.
Yeay! the step down have a very magnifcent + awesome + fantastic + fantasyical view.
Its like walking in a mystic forest in one of the lord of the rings movies or like walking under the sea passing by a wrecked pirate ship. seriously!!!
The walk out was relaxing. We made a few stops for photos and lastlyyyyyyyy... before the exit, we stopped at a water catchment area and had our last berendam session.
i think its about 3pm when we walked out. mandi, tukar baju, solat, makan beger, makan jagung and then heads off to our camp.
Part #2
So, once we reached the camp site, we started to unpack and choose our tents.
Once settled, we had a quick tea break before we headed off for a volleyball match, as what BB zleenz dreamt.

hahhaa.. yaa.. Rash said "aku takkan main volleyball" masa i citer mimpi i kat kak ilah dan rash.
and see.. wat happens! ahahahhaa.... never say never 
The fitness-first team vs the non-fitness, and guess what, we lost all the 3 games. Hahahahahaha. Oh well, being fit does not mean u are great at volleyball. =P
although, we do have historical moments when Bulat did some cool shots!
Once done with games, off we went to the sungai! It’s a very wide one with strong cool currents.
I think its about 7pm when we came up and took another bath at the shower.
Once prim and proper, we headed to the pondok @ surau and solat berjemaah.
Before dinner, we calibrated on the night activity and all agreed to have a game.
Ape ntah nama game tu yg org buat aksi lepas tu kita teka apa benda yg digambarkan. Hikhik.
Dinner - ayam masak kurma and sayur kacang panjang. Then, came a few rangers(I think). They brought durian and horror stories.
Hahaha. Only half of the group stayed for the stories while the rest heads off to pondok waiting for the game to start.
Sessi game lasted for hrs, we try not too laugh too hard as its already late nite(~10pm). Kuakuakua. Around 11pm, me and Melly already sleepy. So off we went to bed while the rest continued chatting.
PART #3
Woke up at 6am for Subuh berjemaah. Once done, we head off to pondok only to discover that banyak gileeeeeeeer durian luruh malam tadi.
Oh, did I forget to mention that our camp is in dusun durian? It’s a bit scary also as takut durian jatuh atas kepala.
Tapi Alhamdulillah, none of that happen.
So, here we are at 7am in the morning, makan durian! Never in history of my life.
But BB zleenz was sure happy as can be for she is the Queen of the King of fruits. =P
Lepas makan durian, sessi seterusnya ialah makan bihun dan cok keria. The hospitality showed by Atok and family warmed our heart.
Esp the 3 kids, amin, ayap and ayi. So cute, chubby and good kids, although hyperactive of coz.
lepak2 jap…then apa lagiiii…..mandi sungaiiiiiiiii!
Ada satu kayu ni..bila kita bergayut and let ourself loose with the current, wahhhh…the feeling is so awesome!
Best best. lepas tu main splash2 air…and tuju batu kat kayu. Best betul rasa cam budak2.
Then, mandi, lepak2 jap, packing, makan nasi n lauk gulai, and off we go after bersalam2 dgn Atok and family.
cucu-cucu atuk di barisan depan... dan atuk berdiri di belakang...
Part #4
The next stop is Taiping rumah kak ilah. Once we enter Taiping, it brings back memory of Trip Taiping. Hmmm…really nostalgic.
I think Taiping is going to be on of the place in my heart. Its really a calm and serene city. Macam biasa, hujan turun dgn lebatnye di Taiping.
Dan, sajian dirumah kak ilah ialah pulut dan durian!
Sambil lepak2, kami main dgn udang peliharaan family kak ilah.
Dalam kul 4.30pm, we depart off.

Bermulanya Peperangan Saudara ini adalah di-initiate oleh parti pembangkang = PARTI KUNCI LOCK (based in Kulim, Kedah)

misi pertama pihak pembangkang adalah utk melawat ternakan udang galah yg mempunyai pertalian saudari/i dgn udang kak ilah. (^_^)v

Shashamot balik… for 2 weeks… dalam trip 2 minggu tu, sempatlah beliau meng-allocate masa datang ke Penang ini… dinda sungguh terharu sekali.
Kedatangan beliau disambut oleh saya dan Zuraini… dan juga disertai sejenak oleh miss Aca (aisyah ismail)… miss Acha (alisa) plak tak smpt jupe beliau kali ini.
Ehehe… I think it has been 2 years la jugak tak jupe shasha nie… last, before she left for Aussie in 2006. So kinda.. misssss her sooo much oredi… Bas takde jumaat, so shasha amik bas Sabtu pagi (28th June 08) and sampai tengahari. Zuraini and I pick her up kt stesen bas Sg.Nibong.
Haha…
Bawak shasha pegi shopping di Queensbay Mall.. sebab masa degree dulu this mall tak smpt buka pun lagie..
dulu kan bukit jambul ngan prangin je paling senang sampai, kuikuikui.. (naik bas mini yg ganas itu.. ahaha)
Then malam aca join skali kitorg pegi Batu Feringgi...
Zue nak dptkan bekalan DVD.. and aca and shasha pun tak ketinggalan, turut dptkan bekalan diorg... Malam makan kt kawasan ikan bakar jeti tuh... balik bilik.. shasha stayed in my hostel room...
haha... like good ol days.. back to usm's hostel ehhh

Pada petang 18hb mei 2008... rombongan pengantin lelaki bergerak pulang ke Muar.
Kami ikut mobil pngantin lelaki bersama pngntin perempuan... menuju ke Muar.
Malam harinya...
diadakan majlis berinai... / tepung tawar...
Upacara ini adalah tradisi di Johor... mbaling ceklat dan syiling.
