I introduced my D60 to my Sony D-H1... so now Sony H1 has a new friend...
in the midst of the commotion, Nokia 6070 called out "Hey what about me?" 
Nokia 6070 had a pretty rough time last week, sent for repair and stranded there for 3 days...
yeahh...u are not missed out dear... Nahh.. see...U have the privelege to mingle with both of them in one go...

Misi Taiping 2008 - Part III (finale)

ehehe... kenapa part III khas utk gmbr ke Zoo Taiping? well... ntah tiba2 rasa mcm perlu berikan limelite
kepada haiwan2 yang berkorban kehidupan asal habitat mereka hanya kerana nak meng-educate society ttg fellow species mereka.
At times when i go to zoo atau tmn.burung (swaktu dgnnya)...
rasa serba salah pun ada sbb tgk diorg di-caged not being able to live to the fullest... but i wud tell myslef..
i am over reacting and thinking positively, at least by visiting... i am helping them create revenue for them
and they are able to get neverending supply of food... world out there can be harsher (deforestation etc)...
ok... i shud stop my blabber and get down to business...
so here's the visit to Zoo Taiping for Misi Taiping 2008 :
berjalan2 sekitar zoooo... siap dgn payung2 lagi...

ok... this is nostalgic 
the zoo taiping trip back then in 2003... and this recent one 2008
ada bberapa pengulangan watak.... tapi byk juga recruit ahli2 baru....
Dan ini pula adegan berjalan2 sekitar zooo.. lawatan sambil belajar yaaa...
Then... tiba2.... hujan turun dgn lobatnyaa 
ayyakk... belum abes jalan woh.. part safari animals...
tersangkut di medan tmpt cover utk hujan...
aku saja2 la main2 suh rash bwk payung pi tgk haiwan2 buat apa dalam hujan.
suddenly kawan btui2 pergi dan lesap! waaa... tidakkk.. driver kitorg tuh
aku di arahkan misi mencari Rash.. aku pun amik payung gak pi jalan.. alih2.. pi jalan sorg2... mnghayati alam waktu hujan
mesmerized kot! totally different experience.
Later nando, emme and joni pun teruja utk buat keje giler ni
dan buat misi tgk haiwan dalam hujan siri II.
paling syok... dan kekal dlm ingatan.. adegan mak gajah yang excited main dgn anak dia dalam lopak air...
dan badak sumbu yang syok bermain lumpur
kenapa cerita hujan ini yg menjadi fokus?
kerana its different experience for me... dan jugak sbg pengajaran kepada semua iaitu
"sediakan payung sebelum hujan"
dgn meredah hujan dgn bantuan 3 payung... berjaya lah mengeluarkan diri drpd zoo tersebut
dan menuju ke tesco for lunch kfc (guna duit extra dr trip). hahaha... bajet diuruskan dgn agak baik
lunch jam 4.30 pm... so rasa2 nya kitorg makan ke melantak haa?
kesimpulannya...
Misi Taiping 2008 dilaporkan berjaya membuatkan seme org balik dgn heppi
dan puas hati coooll.....

pergh.. setelah 2-3 hari busy dgn pelbagai perkara... at last i get to spend some time 2post this...

okies... yaa... selepas pulang ke umah Kak Ilah... kitorg makan dgn sungguh laparnya
hehee... dan juga beramah mesra dengan parents dan tuk kak Ilah yang melayan kami dengan sgt baik...

Petang:
Third Destination
[3] Lake Garden
cadangan Rash supaya parking depan Zoo bg memudahkan kita akhirnye bertukar mjadi tragedi apabila...
mendapati yg rupa-rupanya jauh skali lake itu dr Zoo... uhuhuh.. kami pun berjalan2 ke sana... sungguh lasak skali trip kali ini..
paddle boat ride. hahaa... tak abes2 nak wat pertandingan... dan tak abes2 mesti ada yg cheating... kuikuikui..
tapi kemenangan tetap di-isytiharkan eheheh.. tp mmg raspek la pemenang tmpt pertama ...
sungguh konsisten tuh... (chaiyook Mas dan Ruby)
Alangkah terkilannya kami apabila selepas terbenamnya matahari, hujan mula turun dgn lebatnya.. huhu… aisehmeng.
We were stuck kt tmpt paddle boat… dan… plan ke Night Safari terpaksa ditunda ke esok harinya..
(so bkn nite safari, zoo biasa aja) sedeynyerr… Meredah ujan, we went for dinner and headed straight to Kolam Air Panas.

(hujan dah berhenti) Dapat sewa kolam yg paling besar… dan sgt la luas dan besar dan panas airnyaa.
Berendam kt situ… then… sbb kitorg ada masa penalty yg byk, lepas tu tiba2 ada tournament plak..
lawan lari dalam air dan lawan rangkak dalam air… giloo jo… lawakkk …
12.00am balik ke umah Kak Ilah

Pagi… ahahha.. Johnny dan Zuraini telah dilantik mjadi ajk sarapan pagi.. so they started preparing brekfes lepas subuh…
ahahha.. sbb time yg diberi adalah sebelum 8am. Chaiyookk.. Berjaya dicapai! Tahniah dan tenkiu korg…
Sesi penyampaian hadiah
After brekfes, packing nak teruskan trip dan nnti pulang trus. So, ehhee.. ada sesi ala-ala penutup gitu.
Hehe… surprise ni Kak Ilah pun taktau… we managed to smpan rahsia smpai la saat tuh hihihi…
Bagi jeruk dari Penang dan adiah khas (Jam dinding yg ada 12 muka peserta Misi Taiping ni)… ehehhee…
Dan sekali lagi…

Misi Taiping 2008
29 -30 MAC 2008
Sejarah (version I):
Awal third year (2003) di zaman degree, we organized couples of trips to overcome our boredom and to seek some fun lah kan.
Our third trip was a day trip to Taiping and we had around 15 people joining the trip (fellow CS batch-mates). Kitorg gi museum (wakakaka… sabaq je la),
Zoo taiping (looking back, can barely see the animals in the photos) dan Taman Tasik (we had paddle boat race). Lepas Taiping Trip,
there were several follow-up trips and all these trips managed to make some impact on our fellow vacationers.
Sejarah (version II):
Lepas grad, masing2 bawa haluan mereka and some of us stayed behind to work or pursue postgrad studies. Maka berkuranglah aktiviti “jalan-jalan”.
But as years passed, we enrolled new members, majority masih CS students but now from different batches. We also have non-CS and non-USM in the team,
so takde la kronisme sgt eh The activities, well, vary from hiking, trekking, picnicking, movies or simply lepaking or makan.
Sejarah (version III):
Berikutan projek “jalan-jalan cari makan di seberang pulau”, also joined by Kak Ilah’s parents, we were invited by them to come over to Taiping
to jalan-jalan sana pulak. One month ahead, we planned and communicated with each other - 11 joining members through the ParliMail.
With the establishment of this Parlimail, we are now more organized somehow as we can talk business and talk crap all at the same time.
Since we have been to Taiping before... kitorg plan nak jdkan trip ni extended version yg menarik dan tertarik gitu.
REPORT:
So termaktublah the trip to Taiping --> Misi Taiping 2008
Ok... ini definitely bukan Trip formal2 mcm lawatan sambil blaja tuh...
tapi ciri2 lawatan2 cam tu telah diguna pakai atas alasan... Saje syiok2
here we have the TAGS... mwahaha...
MAS was supposed to wear it allll the time as she was the one who proposed we have something for kenang-kenangan.
Why a TAG? Secara melawak je I proposed, but atas kesilapan teknikal (taknak kantoi dgn kak ilah yang
we are preparing a surprise token for her and her family), somehow meneruskan usaha merealissasikannya...
ok apa... muka semua heppi jer pakai tag huahauhua...
First Destination:
[1] Bukit Larut / Maxwell Hill
Soalan cepu emas daripada Baim = "kenapa, Maxwell itu maksudnya Larut ke dalam bahasa malaysia" 
jawab korg... jgn tak jawab yaaa
ok.. ini bergambr di kaki bukit...
hmmmm kenapa perlu 4 kali shots?? laa... biasak la... semenyer fotogedik maaa.. layannnn....

ini adalah senarai pemenang2 dan satu pengalah... (dah kalah nk mnta adiah plak)
saper buat pembayaran #1 dan #2 mdpt adiah biskut Tiger
dan saper sampai tmpt berkumpul (skool CS) mdpt biskut Oreo. Hadiah adalah tajaan Kak Ilah @Fazot seksi.
ni sesi penyampaian adiah (again i stress here... tak formal tapi ngader2 jeeerr )
Setelah naik dgn 2 jeep....
sampai di puncak....
tak baper sejuk.. cuma tak baper panas laa.. hohohooho...
amik2 gmbr dan makan2 sarapan round #2...

Second Destination:
[2] Burmese Pool
Singgah on the way tugu peringatan askar2 gurka pada zaman british. mane ek gmbr.. alamak lupa nak inculde masa edit...
takpa... kita terus ke destinasi beriukutnya dulu...
Burmese pool ni waterfall area laa.. so mandi manda lor.. syiokknyer... sejukkkk oooor....
Splasshing and sinking in... ducking and singing... ahaha... while the guys disappeared looking for other spots,
we the girls had singing bet... and Cik Ruby yang berpura-purak blur dan taktau main...
end up jadik the juara terulung gituhh.. nyampesss nyerr
apapun... mmg siok dan enjoy ler mndi manda nie... nak pi lagiee....
dalam 3pm.. awan mula mendung.... dan kitorg pun packing... bergegas ke umah kak ilah...

Alumni Convent Bukit Mertajam - First AGM
|

so this is our first AGM
Some intro:
The “PERSATUAN ALUMNI SEKOLAH CONVENT BUKIT MERTAJAM” has been officially established and registered in June 2007.
The alumni body is now focusing in recruiting members from the earliest batch to the recent ones. Members must be former students of Convent Bukit Mertajam,
as well as former teachers who have served the school, both or either one from the secondary and primary school.
Our protem committee members are graduates ranging from the 60’s to the 90’s. In 2006 and 2007, we have a wide range of ex-students attending the reunion gatherings.
It was rather interesting and of course, girls will always be girls, we always wanna have fun Especially the dinner last year, difference in generations was not an issue at all;
I guess everyone had a great time.
Regarding the activities as an alumni body, we are outlining the structure for the coming general meeting as we form the new committee board. We are looking forward
to social and charitable activities that may not only benefit our alma mater, but also the society around us. Fresh and new ideas from members are most welcomed.
The first general meeting was held in our alma mater (23rd February 2008).
It was great as it brought back memories of school days when we used to have dozens of AGMs
in the very same hall (the new hall) - not so new la now.
The committee did a wonderful job to organise this AGM and the School was indeed very helpful. Bravo!!

Class photo taken in 1997, in front of the stairs to the sciences’ labs. Jessie said we looked like a school of fish,
all packed up like sardines. I couldn’t stop laughing at that silly but kinda true expression. me tooooo.......

1999, Red House team
yesterday, yingSan and I talked about the glorious moments in school (in ym). Of course, Red House was one of those.
I was the captain, she was also in the committee. together with ayna, natte and ele we trained the marching squad.
After looking at the pooor marks from the sukan tara, we figured it was our responsibility to make RedHouse
glorious in some other way (so we made a suppa-dupper creative notice board and we suppa trained the marching squad)....
and we won!!! ahahaha....
yingSan and I designed the notice board using ranting2 from the mangosteen trees, sprayed it red and formed the word Merah.
It so happened the letter "M" deformed and broke a day before sports day. YingSan and I were so superstitious,
we thought it would bring us bad luck so we decided to fix it before the pembukaan. On that day itself,
we kutip some ranting, tied em into "M", left our marching team and ran to fix the board. So gila one
then we ran back to the field. The 3 main flag barriers were already marching, starting the parade. ahahhaha... kerja gila...
but somehow we believed that, that "M" was really our goodluck charm as we won the parade!
If you read shuhjiuan's blog, she mentioned that the mangosteen trees are now gone! so sad...
u can see the pokok in dis pixxie.
ahaha.. yeah the same pokok where we got the ranting2 for our "M.E.R.A.H" from.

choir... we were not really into choir, we were more of a choral speaking thingy... ehehe... this choir team was specially formed
for the majlis perpisahan for our dearest Mr.Ng and Mrs.Bala. They taught in CBM for more than a decade,
mr.ng since 1979 if i'm not mistaken and Mrs.Bala few years after that. Ouh, we love them dearlyyy.....
mrs.bala taught english in form 3, mr.Ng taught modern maths in form 4&5 before he retired in the middle of the year.
Mrs.Bala is so motherly.... she treat us like one of her own... she was the one responsible to get me into the school's debate team.
If it was not her, maybe I would never have enough confident for public speaking especially in english.
THANK YOU Mrs.Bala. She even advised me when I was so confused whether or not
i should accept the offer to attend science school (which I didnt ahahhhaa)
Mr.Ng was the school's cowboy... okie... he loves country songssss soooo muchhh, you could hear the country songs
buzzing in the air when you walked pass his small room in betweeen the science labs. His favourite cowboy hat!
who can forget that. And we always kacau him in class or outside the class... ehehhe. fatherly and a kewl one at that.
I remember he wrote in my autograph sounded something like this
" there's many things I like about you, so will the boys and later some men in future" kuikuikuikui....
so i guess have to wait for some cowboyish guy to sweep me off my feet...

this was the first year I tried wearing tudung in school, so I ended up looking like a ninja turtle, coz i didnt know
how to stuff the tudung inside the prefects uniform... (i only started wearing tudung permanently when I came in usm)...
with much practice all these years, i hope i dont look like a ninja turtle lagi kan??

Alisa was already in the committee holding other position and I desperately need someone with a bombastic photo skill…
With the information I had… I chased Jessie for days until I managed to talk her in… ahahha… verry politician huh...
Yeahh, I also remember Thama was very happy with this job
coz she got to bring camera to school without having to fill in any borang kebenaran… kehkehekeh…
mr.ng is in the pixxie here. this was taken on his last day as a teacher
Last but not least,
my graduation class... 5 Sains 2. (remember how we rebelled against "Sains 2"). I guess our batch were just toooo naughty
and got the teachers on their nerves. So they decided to "tame" us by scrambling the class orders....
At first we were sooo mad about it, but later we decided what the heck, as long as some of us still stick together and still in the same class,
it was not a big deal after all lah... the word naughty here... reminds me of all the keganasan our batch did.
Remember the line "god knows who's wrong who's right"... ? aiyooo if i list all the keganasan here... damn scary okayyy..
so i better treasure it as our batch's secret (konon2 la)... we'll talk and laugh about it when we hang out ok
huaaa.. i miss Sze Hui so much... she was my table-partner (Form 2 to Form 5)... so she knows my true colors,
and really knows how to handle me, ngehngehngeh... huhu me miss her
this post can be infinite if i don't stop typing now!
I loove my schooll..... thru ups n downs... better times, worse times... i just lovveee my school... Convent Bukit Mertajam muahhsssssss :*
11 years of my life spent there... i kinda grew up in it.

This post is not supposed to be about bulat, it is supposed to be about the BBQ sponsored by Mastura.
yaa... Mastura sponsored the bbq, the rest co-organised aar... plan aritu pegi sedim or bukit hijau... tapi kerana bbrapa isu yang tidak dpt diselesaikan, plan nya dibawa ke Feringgi sahaja.
oh yaa... before dat Zue and I pegi kenduri tunang Linda, sbb tu pakai baju yang bleh pakai utk both majlis tunang dan bersantai tepi pantai
somehow... emme n mas juga tiba dgn imej ber-skirt... so kita isytiharkan outing kali ni as The Skirtie Day ek..
hmmm.... main aci ligan ke ni?
bbq....
barang2 dan bahan2 dibeli jumaat....
dan dihantar terus kepada saudara irfan untuk menjalankan AKTIVITI marinade ayam2 tersebut... beliau baru selesai Viva masters, jadi ini dirasakan saat paling sesuai utk beliau menyalurkan kegembiraan beliau kepada ayam2 tersebut... ptutla sedap ayam tu.. (ayat bodek supaya beliau akan menjadi chef marinade pada masa2 akan dtg) )
tak lupa juga kepada saudari Zuraini yang sudi mensponsor Salad yang dipotong dan di gaul sendiri oleh beliau.
setelah kenyang makan..... dan selesai membersihkan tmpt dan swaktu dengannya.. didapati ajk kebersihan, saudara bulat missing in action (pergi solat isyak). Ini menyebabkan azleena berseloroh membayangkan jika dia ditinggalkan. Idea ini terus dipelopori rashidi dan mengajak semua org utk mengenakan beliau.... tapi akhirnya bertukar menjadi tragedi apabila bulat betul2 hilang selepas muncul seketika mencari kitorang di tmpt kejadian.
misi pencarian Bulat menemui kejayaan selepas 15 minit dia menghilangkan diri.

Outdoor
aku ditugaskan menjadioutdoor photographer menggunakan Nikon D40 milik pngantin (correction: Nikon D70s). ahaha... plan2 nak gie la jauh2 cari sawah terbentang luas. pstu aku suggest sebelum gi jauh2 amik sikit shot kat blakang taman aku. dun play-play, behind my taman, ada sawah padi (wpun taklah terbentang luas sgt) yang dibelahi dengan landasan keretapi.
sebaik sampai... chu chu train lalu. so next train hanya akan lalu pada 10pm...
ambik bbrpa shot... dan pngantin wat keputusan... " kita shoot kat sini je lah, takyah pi jauh2 laa" so wokeh set...
penggambaran outdoor kita... di taman perumahan aku lah jawabnya sungguh membanggakan...
(ohyaa... lihat itu bukit.. itulah dia mercu tanda bukit mertajam... the bukit mertajam itself )
